Turbokeels and innovation at the Nautic Boat Show

From December 3 to 10, the 2022 edition of the Paris Boat Show was held. As in previous years, the Nautic show hosted the innovation contest; META Yachts presented the Turbokeels.  This contest allows about fifteen participants selected on file to exhibit their innovation. This year, ecology was the key word.

META Yachts was selected for this contest thanks to the TurboKeels, an innovation of ballastable twin keel allowing heel control and improved performance.  We presented a model-demonstrator of this system, which convinced the visitors. Simple, efficient and inexpensive to build, the TurboKeels shows an interesting potential for yachting but also for cargo sailing.

The innovation competition brought together players from many sectors of the nautical industry: port, offshore racing, industry, recycling, safety, shipbuilding, maintenance, leisure sailing, etc. The week was full of ideas and exchanges between nautical enthusiasts.
